Antler Art is created by Jim and Jan Adams of
Harpster, Idaho.
Together, Jim and Jan create beautifully handcrafted
works of art in the form of belt buckles, bolos,
salt and pepper shakers, earrings and more. Their
artistic expression is inspired by the abundant
beauty and wildlife of North Central Idaho, on
the historical South Fork of the Clearwater River.
Whitetail Deer and Elk antler sheds ("sheds"
meaning, antlers that are dropped every year),
are the focal point of their art.
Jan is mostly a self
taught artist, using oil paints on genuine antler.
Jim is the chief antler cutter, sander and inventor
of all sorts of ways to use antler. (while also
working a full time job)

howdy folks! i can't say enough about Jan and
Jim's great work. it all began with an incredible
"striking bass" bolo tie, that has gotten
compliments and has started many conversations.
they have since done about 8 more personalized
works for me, every one different, one of a kind
and beautiful. some of these pieces have been
within their specialty of wildlife... while others,
such as making a bolo with a piece of the Berlin
Wall, or with an antique military insignia have
really demonstrated their versatility. best pleasure
of all is to present "individualized"
gifts to friends or loved ones....and Jan and
